The New Beginnings Club is a charitable non-profit organization run by the Brain Injury Association of Chatham-Kent established formally in 1992. Stable funding was obtained in 1997 and a more formalized Club was developed.
As an extension of a person-centered approach to primary care health services, the New Beginnings Club provides social and recreational services to survivors and caregivers along with networked links to all other aspects of health promotion available in Chatham-Kent. The Club will work directly with other care providers, transportation and vocational services to ensure all needs of each member or caregiver are met to the highest standards available in our area.
